If you have not already toured the facility, please schedule a tour with the School Receptionist by calling 949-3600.

Application materials are available online, by mail, and at the school. Complete the Application and Parent Questionnaire and submit them to Dawson with a $100.00 application fee and a current photograph of your child.

For Kindergarten and Early Childhood applicants, please include a copy of the child's birth certificate. Please note that Early Childhood Applicants must be four years old by September 30 and Kindergarten applicants must be five years old by September 30.

Sign the Transcript Release Form, and have your child's current school send copies of records and all previous testing to The Alexander Dawson School Admission Office.

Give the Teacher Recommendation Form to your child's teacher, and have the teacher forward the completed form to The Alexander Dawson School Admission Office.

Give the Principal Recommendation Form to your child's principal, and have the principal forward the completed form to The Alexander Dawson School Admission Office. Once the completed Application, Parent Questionnaire, Application Fee, and all school records and references are received, we will call to schedule testing.

Dawson will call applicant's parents to schedule a meeting with the Director of Admission. After all application materials are received, testing is complete, and the parents have met with the Director of Admission, the written notification of acceptance status will be mailed.
