Dawson is proud to announce two outstanding programs: Summer at Dawson and the Summer Institute for the Gifted. Although summer break allows time for vacation and fun in the sun, it is imperative to provide your child with a continuous learning environment. These two programs will fill your student’s summer with an age-appropriate schedule of courses focusing on academic enrichment and preparing them for the upcoming school year.

Welcome to Summer at Dawson 2007
A natural extension of our school-year program, Summer at Dawson offers a combination of programs to Dawson students and to students four years old through Grade Eight in the greater Las Vegas community. Offering courses in academic enrichment, visual and performing arts, technology, music and sports, Summer at Dawson exposes students to a comprehensive curriculum that caters to the educational needs of each grade level.

Summer Institute for the Gifted
This program is offered to students meeting academic eligibility requirements from Kindergarten through Grade Six. The goal of this program is to provide the highest quality educational and social opportunities for academically gifted and talented students through programs designed to meet their abilities and needs. Dawson is one of thirteen prestigious schools, including UCLA and Princeton, selected to host this renowned program across the country.
