At Alexander Dawson, the cornerstone
of our approach is that education is a process that is not limited to teaching
facts but is focused on learning the value of research; learning how to
learn. We place special emphasis on the focused work that is part of learning.
Our students learn that hard work is not to be feared but embraced as a
direct path to success. Above all we teach our students that their time
here at Dawson is a tremendous opportunity and that to take full advantage
of that opportunity they must make their own commitment to learning and
investing themselves as members of the community.
